On board a 17th-century ship, the deck was rarely quiet. Sailors hauled barrels, scrubbed the deck clean, and coiled ropes after a day at sea. This set of twelve miniatures depicts the daily work on deck – a lively image of life aboard ship in the Dutch Golden Age.
The figures are designed based on historical paintings and prints from the 17th century and are 3D-printed in resin in the Netherlands.
Each figure is uniquely designed and made to the scale of 1:72, matching the wooden ship models by Kolderstok.
