It has been a while since our last update, but a lot has been happening behind the scenes. The development of the Kolderstok miniatures is progressing steadily, and we can now show a bit more.
At the bottom of this page we present new photos of painted figures – again in 1:50 scale – as well as a first impression of what the packaging will look like.
We are also working hard on the 1:72 scale version. We are currently putting the finishing touches on the test prints so they can be painted and photographed in the coming weeks.
The first release will consist of three crew sets, namely:
- Set 5001 "Werk aan dek" (6 resin miniatures in 1:50 scale)
- Set 5002 "Trossen en Takels" (6 resin miniatures in 1:50 scale)
- Set 7201 "Alle hens" (12 resin miniatures in 1:72 scale)
This first release includes boatswains and sailors; later series will cover a much wider range of figures, including labourers, helmsmen, and officers.
The pre-order option for the sets will open very soon, with planned delivery starting in the first weeks of December. The run of the first series will be limited. Therefore, subscribers to our newsletter will have priority when placing an order.
