As we work towards the launch of the first crew sets, the figures are slowly but surely finding their place on board.
The first painted examples – all in scale 1:50 – are now ready and show how the figures fit in between deck, railing, and rigging. Each model is individually printed and hand-painted, with attention to the postures and clothing of 17th-century sailors.
At this moment, we are working on the further development to scale 1:72, so that ships on a smaller scale can also be manned in the future. That process requires some fine-tuning, but the first results look very promising.
